With origins in a medieval, famine-stricken Sicily, The St. Joseph Table is a tradition of devotion that still carries great meaning for Italian-Americans and Roman Catholics in America. St. Anthony Church – located in a neighborhood rich with history of Italian immigrant families, and now richly diverse – produces one of the largest and most renowned St. Joseph celebrations in Kansas City every March.
