Stone Cutters Union at The Phoenix

On a dark and rainy night in late August, a band of four men lugged a series of suspicious instruments into a small jazz club on a lonely corner in the heart of Kansas City. They were known as Stone Cutters Union, and those patrons inside The Phoenix didn’t know the blues that were about to hit them.
