The days are getting colder…

Alas!  Summer is gone.  The wonderful days of shorts and t-shirts are passing.  But there are many seasonal adventures to look forward to.  On Saturday I bought a load of squash, potatoes, and apples at the Farmer’s Market.  It makes me cozy just thinking about rich fall cuisine.  And then, of course, there are the fall colors.  After missing two North American autumns in a row due to my stint in Bolivia, I am ecstatic for this year.  One way I will enjoy it: a short bike trip down the KATY Trail during the peak of autumn chromatic transformation.  Stay tuned for photographs later this month.  Get out there and enjoy it for yourself, too.  The abundant moisture this summer should make for some dazzling fireworks in the canopy.
